Lorra Lorra Lavender
Whilst we were residents of 2 St Stephens Villas, Mummy Sue kindly gave me some Lavender at the end of autumn last year, which has been tied up in a bag and sat in a pile of ideas since then! After moving to Bristol and playing house, we recently bought a vintage wardrobe for our bedroom, which unsurprisingly has a bit of a foisty aroma to it. So I finally had the excuse to make lavender pouches and pillows all round! The lavender still smells good and strong, and they are working a treat! Thank you again M.Sue!
I made a few different styles. A draw string pouch. A pillow. Both of which I trimmed with some pretty lace and my amazing Wishmeam* labels, which John got me once as a gift. :)
I also made the other simple pouches with just a ribbon tie around the top. These were from old pockets from a dress I cut up! I knew they would come in use one day! Hoorah for keeping useless bits of things in the hope of them being made into something else.

Zeezee Tee
My dear friend was blessed with the beautiful name Zoe. However, her childhood memories of searching in Gift Shops for that ever important rubber/key ring/note pad or magnet adorned with the letter Z, were full of disappointment.
Taa DAA!
I sail in with an all new Zz T shirt to save the day and provide therapy for those traumatic Gift Shop days. I actually stole the idea (this is becoming a reoccurring theme) from American Apparel, who sell the whole alphabet in Black&White, but that would be no fun!! So I tested out my not-used-before Appliqué skills and fashioned up this one. Hopefully a review will pop on here soon from the lady herself... OOoerrr.

Dye Young Stay Pretty
I made like a witch and conjured up some potion. It was fun, I felt like a scientist. But it took quite awhile and a lot of stirring. The dress was originally a hospital pale green and a wee bit transparent. So I gave it an autumnal make over with a lovely shade of Burlesque Red. Saucy!

Fold and Sew
At last! These have been a long project. I found a similar one on Etsy by a very clever person. I spent some time figuring out how it was made, fashioned a prototype with some random old t-shirt and then after sourcing the fabric and chain I got stuck in! I mucho like this one. And its all for ME :) 2 other lucky people have had one made too. Limited Edition!

les fleurs pressées
I recently caught the Bride's bouquet at a wedding! How lovely :) These days brides do not always throw their flowers away as they want to keep them (and they are expensive!) so I thought I would press some of the flowers and give them back as a keep sake :) Also a bit of an experiment for me as I have never done it before.
